We had horrendous storms over the week-end with tennis ball size hail.  The hail storm lasted 15-20 minutes.  We were in the RV and It sounded like it was going to come through the roof.   The truck, RV and house sustained damage.

We have to take the RV up to Webster City RV for an estimate next week.  The truck has already been adjusted by the insurance company.

Today the adjuster and contractor were here to see the damage and give us estimates on the house.  We should hear from the insurance company in a few days.  Looks like a new roof, gutters and maybe a paint job on the house.  A few broken windows too.

Thankfully the horses made it through the storm just fine.  Unfortunately our neighbors weren’t as lucky as they lost a few calves to the hail.

Today the sun is out and it is a beautiful spring day.  Just remember that there is always a silver lining to every adversity.
